<어쩌다 찍힌 사진> 연작은 주로 휴대폰 화면과 내 손끝의 무질서한 결합으로 예고 없이 찍힌 사진들이다. 목적도 이유도 없이 어쩌다 찍혔다. 그리고 특정 의도를 가지고 촬영된 사진들 사이로 맥락 없이 사진첩 안에 수집되었다.
나는 일말의 의식적 패턴을 두고 보지 않을 수 있는 이 우연한 사진 연작을 통해서 푸코가 말하는 규율 권력에서 오는 해방감을 경험한다. 즉 굳어진 시각의 탈피이자 저항을 대변하고, 당연하게 받아들이고 합리적이라고 믿는 제도나 관습에 관해서 의문을 제기하고자 한다.

La série <Photo prise par hasard> sont principalement des photos prises sans préavis par la combinaison désordonnée de l'écran d'un téléphone portable et du bout de mes doigts. Elles ont été photographiés sans but ni raison. Et parmi les photos prises avec une intention précise, elles ont été rassemblées dans un album photo sans contexte.
J'éprouve le sentiment de libération de Pouvoir disciplinaire dont parle Foucault à travers cette série de photographies accidentelles, dans lesquelles je ne vois aucun schéma conscient. En d'autres termes, je vise à rompre avec une perspective durcie, à représenter la résistance et à soulever des questions sur les systèmes et les coutumes que l'on croit raisonnables et tenus pour acquis.

The <Photo taken by chance> series are mainly photos taken without notice by the haphazard combination of a cell phone screen and my fingertips. They were photographed without purpose or reason. And among the photos taken with a specific intention, they were collected in a photo album without context.
I experience the feeling of liberation of disciplinary Power that Foucault speaks of through this series of accidental photographs, in which I see no conscious pattern. In other words, I aim to break away from a hardened perspective, to represent resistance and to raise questions about systems and customs that are believed to be reasonable and taken for granted.
